This year's Miami Summit opened a large view of the world of electronic retailing (aka the direct response industry) to the ever emerging world of on-line marketers. It was also a surprising and refreshing success for the core DRTV guard that is now merging TV, On-line and Retail marketing in just about everything they do. I think the realization that ERA's time "has never been more now' is now seeping in to corporate offices of fortune 500 companies, medium sized companies looking to expand their advertising efforts, small companies looking to grow, International distributors tapping the US market for the next major hit and, of course, entrepreneurs and inventors always looking to hit the next grand slam. Hopefully next year, we can bring some of that excitement poolside! Nicely done to all of the ERA staffers!
